Fire & Rescue

The Industry Fire & Rescue Department is dedicated to protecting the lives, property, and safety of the community through emergency response, fire prevention, and public service. Staffed by committed local volunteers, the department responds to fire and rescue emergencies while also assisting residents with burn permits and fire safety information. Residents are encouraged to follow all local burn regulations and fire danger conditions to help keep the community safe.

Burn permits may be obtained online through the Maine Burn Permit Service. Permits are valid only when the daily fire danger rating is listed as low or moderate and may be used between 9:00 AM and midnight.

Please note: Any recreational campfire larger than 3 feet high or 3 feet in diameter requires a burn permit.
