Boards & Committees

The Planning Board works with the Code Enforcement Officer in reviewing and taking action on Building Permits, Shoreland Zoning, Subdivisions, Site Plans, Land Use, and any other matter referred to by the Select Board and Code Enforcement Officer.

Planning Board members are appointed by the Select Board.  If interested in filling a vacancy please contact a Select Board member or attend one of the Board Meeting.

The Planning Board typically meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM *

The Board of Appeals duties are to hear appeals for Administrative Review and Interpretation of the Town’s ordinances, hear variance requests and appeals of any decision may by the Code Enforcement Officer or Planning Board.

​Appeals Board members are appointed by the Select Board. The board consist of 5 members for a term of 5 years. The Select Board may also appoint 2 associate board members. All members must be a resident of the Town of Industry. If interested in filling a vacancy please contact a Select Board member or attend one of the Board Meetings.

The Board of Appeals meet on an as needed basis.
